FIELD: metallurgy, possibly steel production in oxygen converter.
SUBSTANCE: nozzle includes head water cooled from inside and having in bottom part openings for placing hollow jets water cooled from outside and designed for supplying oxygen to converter. Said jets are mutually connected along their ends by upper flange. Walls of head and jets have metal structure oriented normally relative to surface of heat action. Apparatus for making one-piece nozzle of lance includes casting mold for molding outer surface of head, set of metallic melting rods for molding inner surfaces of jets (lower ends of jets are arranged in permanent mold); set of gas-permeable sand rods for molding inner surface of head, outer surfaces of jets and upper flange.
EFFECT: improved strength of nozzles, lowered expenses for producing steel.
