FIELD: metallurgy, possibly designs of tips used at oxygen converter production.
SUBSTANCE: tip includes head with nozzles and semi-flange. Central part of tip is provided with insert having nozzle halves and made refractory material. Central part of said insert is solid one or it is lined with refractory material or it has nozzle.
EFFECT: improved strength of tips, reduced expenses of process for cast iron to steel conversion.
