FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of control of internal combustion engines at low loads and at idling. Proposed method of control of liquid-cooled internal combustion engine at loads and idling with liquid cooling system furnished with temperature transmitter is executed by cutting off fuel delivery to group of cylinders and overlapping channels between cylinders and gas outlet duct. Simultaneously with cutting off fuel delivery, drive of fan of engine cooling system is switched off, and minimum check value of cooling liquid temperature is set basing on which signal to switch on fan drive is generated by temperature transmitter. Then stepless increase of fan and liquid pump speed is carried out by gradually increasing loads to maximum level of tension device.
EFFECT: increased power and reliability of engine and its economy.
