FIELD: engineering of devices for controlling admixtures in gas with usage of photo-ionization detector.
SUBSTANCE: device contains photo-ionization detector, main gas line, wherein detector and flow activator is mounted, mounted in main gas line at detector output, additional gas line, connected in parallel to detector and connected to branch pipe of detector for input and output of gas, while in additional gas line absorber is mounted for absorption of absorbed substances from gas being analyzed, and also device for circulation of gas in contour, formed by main and additional gas lines. As circulation device, additional flow activator may be used, mounted in additional gas line, or flow activator mounted in main gas line, or flow activator, mounted in main gas line and augmented by two controllable locking valves, one of which is mounted in additional gas line, and another one is mounted in main gas line at output of flow activator.
EFFECT: in gas analyzer periodical cleaning is provided for surface of ultraviolet lamp of photo-ionization detector to remove pollution without using additional sources of clean gases, substantially simplifying operation of gas analyzer, preventing need for periodical cleaning of lamp.
