FIELD: restoration of used ash and slime dumps.
SUBSTANCE: method involves placing water-retention interlayer onto ash and slime dumps at a distance of 1.0-1.5 m from site of accomplishment of ash dump, said interlayer being provided by washing-on of clay pulp or layer of bentonite or by spreading of non-woven protective-filtering material or perforated film web; thereafter, finally accomplishing washing-on of ash dump to form 1.0-1.5 m thick layer of ash and slime pulp; leveling ash dump surface; covering it with continuous ground layer or with ground strips; applying mineral and organic fertilizers; sowing perennial grasses and planting trees and bushes.
EFFECT: increased efficiency in pasture establishment of ash dumps, reduced loss of plants due to moisture and nutrient deficiency.
