FIELD: hydraulic engineering. SUBSTANCE: ash-slag material is deposited in a section of operative ash dump, after which it is dehydrated, worked out, transported and placed in layers in the body of the main filled ash dump spliced in height, taking upon itself the atmospheric precipitation. At placement of the ash-slag in the body of the main filled ash dump, dry ash taken directly from the boiler unit is added to the layer, after that the layer is packed, and layer-by-layer splicing of the body of the filled ash dump in height is accomplished at a rate providing for fulfillment of the following condition: W0≤Wmax, where W0 - moisture content in the layer of the filled ash dump after taking upon itself of atmospheric precipitation by the overlying layers; Wmax - maximum freely confined equilibrium moisture content of ash-slags in the filled ash dump. Formula is given for determination of the layer-by-layer splicing of the body of the filled "internal drainage" ash dump in height; at storage of ash-slags monitoring of the moisture content in the underlying layers of the ash dump is accomplished. EFFECT: provided conditions for movement of transport facilities of filled ash dumps due to reduction of their humid content. 5 cl, 1 dwg
