FIELD: production of metal furniture constructions.

SUBSTANCE: set of metal members comprises vertical tubular columns for supporting of at least one horizontal surface and connecting lateral cross-pieces, at least one connection unit for each column, with form of said connection unit providing geometric joining with column and with at least one respective conforming profile cut off in at least one end of one cross-piece, so that initially connection unit and column and then connection unit and cross-piece are correctly joined and preliminarily positioned one with respect to another. Set of metal members has at least first means for reliable joining of connection unit with column, second means for reliable joining of connection unit with each cross-piece joined thereto, and third means for reliable joining of each cross-piece with horizontal surface. All mentioned joining means are readily accessible and are not visible from outside.

EFFECT: increased efficiency and quick and easy assembling of metal constructions.
