FIELD: railway transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for providing safety of traffic. Proposed device has distance and speed pickups, brake main line air pressure transmitter, system to determine position of rail vehicle, information input unit relates to train and indication unit. All said devices are connected with electronic unit including data base with electronic route map and train schedule. Device is provided to supply information to driver. Moreover, device is furnished with microprocessor system connected to electronic unit, to circuit determining operating conditions of traction vehicle, to unit setting programmed braking conditions and to device to supply information to driver. Microprocessor system is made for determining main resistance to train running for correcting coefficient of train braking with possibility of determining probable place of stopping.

EFFECT: possibility of determining estimated brake coefficient of train and as a result, evaluate effectiveness of train automatic brakes in the run.
