SUBSTANCE: surface 10 simulating grass comprises rows 13 consisted of strips 15 spaced apart large distances and projecting from elastic bearing sheet 12. Connected to sheet 12 in gaps between strip 15 rows 13 are temperature control devices 23. Bearing sheet 12 is covered with relatively thick filling layer 17 arranged so that the temperature control devices are contained in the layer 17. The layer 17 maintains strips 15 in vertical positions and may include cultivating substance for plant cultivation. In accordance with one embodiment electric wires are built in surface with artificial grass to heat above surface for snow and ice thawing and supply plant roots with heat. In accordance with another embodiment the surface 10 has perforated flexible pipes 29 built into the surface and adapted to moisture the surface for surface cooling by to moisture evaporation.
