FIELD: oil industry, possible use for protecting well equipment (tubing pipes, well pumps, pump bars, etc) from sedimentation of asphalt-resin-paraffin substances.

SUBSTANCE: in accordance to method, magnetic activator is lowered into well and mounted in operation column of tubing pipes at depth below zone of asphalt-resin-paraffin substance sedimentations. Extracted well liquid is processed using magnetic field of high strength and alternating polarity. In accordance to invention, before lowering magnetic activator into well, determined successively in oil of current well are content of pyrobitumen mP, resins mR and paraffin mPA, benzene resins mbr and spirit-benzene resins msbr, time of aftereffect of magnetic processing of oil tae and time of raising of well liquid up to point where magnetic activator is mounted up to well mouth tM. When conditions mPA/(mP+mR)<1, tae>2tM, mbr/msbr<1, mP+mbr<10% are all met simultaneously, magnetic activator is lowered into well and extracted well liquid is magnetically processed.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of protection of well equipment from sedimentations of asphalt-resin-paraffin substances by means of increasing success coefficient of magnetic processing of extracted well liquid and decreasing number of wells with negative result after magnetic processing of extracted well liquid.
