FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed power generating installation has air compression unit incorporating low-pressure compressor communicating with high-pressure compressor through primary-air duct. In addition provision is made for compressor turbine unit for driving low-pressure compressor and/or high-pressure compressor. Installation also has combustion unit for burning suitable fuel-air mixture and power turbine provided with revolving shaft to produce mechanical energy. Tube bank for passing exhaust gases is joined with power-turbine exhaust gas outlet. Installation likewise has secondary-air duct whose inlet end is inserted between low-pressure compressor outlet and high-pressure compressor inlet so that primary air flow from compressed air delivered by low-pressure compressor is passed through primary-air duct to high-pressure compressor and secondary-air flow enters secondary-air duct. The latter is provided with first means for spraying water to secondary-air flow. Outlet end of secondary-air duct is joined with connecting part between compressor turbine unit outlet and power turbine inlet.
