SUBSTANCE: present invention proposes a method for generating energy using a combined cycle, involving operation of a first power system in which fuel is burnt, generating primary energy and a flue gas stream with a flue gas temperature of more than 450 °C, and operation of a second power system which generates secondary energy from heat contained in a flue gas stream containing a waste heat regeneration heat exchanger. Method further includes steps of passing a flow of flue gases through a heat exchanger of waste heat regeneration, passing the working body to regenerate waste heat under pressure through a heat exchanger of waste heat regeneration, receiving heat from the flue gas stream, to obtain vaporous working medium for regeneration of waste heat under pressure, having temperature in range of 350–500 °C. Working body of waste heat regeneration contains more than 75 mol. %. fluorinated ketones.
EFFECT: disclosed is a method for generating energy using a combined cycle.
