FIELD: engine engineering.

SUBSTANCE: ignition system comprises voltage converter, power switch, diode, inductive coil, accumulating capacitor, ignition coil, proportional-pulse controller, pickup of open-circuit, commutator, voltage divider, level shift circuit, first and second peak detectors, circuit of amplifier-computer, and filter. The system is additionally provided with the second power switch, second diode, and circuit for choosing regime of operation. The anode of the second diode is connected with the second output of the inductive coil and first power output of the second power switch. The second power output of the second power switch is connected with the minus terminal of the power source. The cathode of the second diode is connected with the second output of the accumulating capacitor and second output of the pulse controller whose output is connected with the input of the circuit for choosing the regime and the second output is connected with the control input of the second power switch. The fourth and fifth outputs of the circuit for choosing regime are connected with the plus and minus of the power source, respectively.
