FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engine; electronic ignition system. SUBSTANCE: device is furnished additionally with transmitter, and control unit consists of monostable multivibrator, multivibrator, switch, inductance coil, diode, reservoir capacitor and comparator. Transmitter is connected to first input of comparator, and breaker, to second input. Output of comparator is connected with first input of monostable multivibrator to second input of which input of multivibrator is connected. Output of monostable multivibrator is connected with switch control input whose first power terminal is connected with negative terminal of supply source, and second terminal, through inductance coil, is connected with positive terminal of supply source and, through diode, with reservoir capacitor and primary winding of ignition coil. Second output of reservoir capacitor is connected with negative terminal of supply source. EFFECT: improved reliability of ignition system, increased service life of spark plugs owing to change in spark energy depending on engine operating conditions. 1 dwg
