FIELD: pipeline engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises pressure-tight tank provided with the signal emitter and signal receiver and arranged above the pipeline. The output of the signal receiver is connected with the input of the device for control and indication through the signal converter. The signal emitter has the pickup of radioactive radiation. The capsule is made of two compartments separated by a movable baffle. The first compartment of the capsule is filled with a radioactive agent, a source of alpha-radiation, and the second compartment of the capsule receives the target made of a material with high energy neutron exit under the action of alpha-radiation.
EFFECT: simplified structure and enhanced reliability.
