FIELD: radio communications; shaping differently modulated signals.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method is characterized in that modulator is assembled of semiconductor diode, high-frequency control signal source, and four-terminal network whose input is connected to multifrequency signal source; four-terminal network has two-terminal networks, each being made of reactance components whose parameters are chosen so as to ensure double-layer mechanisms of varying amplitude and phase of multifrequency signals at chosen interpolation frequencies in case controlled semiconductor diode changes its state under impact of low-frequency control signal; in this case semiconductor diode is inserted into longitudinal circuit between four-terminal network output and low-voltage control signal source. Device implementing this method has circulator, reactance four-terminal network, and semiconductor diode connected to low-frequency control signal source; reactances of two-terminal networks at each of two preset frequencies and parameters of parallel circuit are chosen from mathematical equations given in claim of invention.
EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities and enhanced capacity of data transferred.
