FIELD: affording transparency of numbers between mobile communication networks.
SUBSTANCE: platform ULYSSES-NP maintains signal relaying function (SRF), number portability register (NPR), and number portability data base (NPDB). Signal relaying function receives signals from mobile communication switching center (MSC) and provides for routing as is required to ensure portability of numbers including respective protocol conversion. Relay station converts operation of applied mobile allocation part (MAP) between networks so that call is conveyed from mobile communication switching center of outgoing network directly to mobile communication switching center of destination network.
EFFECT: ability of ensuring transparency of numbers for two or more networks using different signaling standards.
