FIELD: electrical instrumentation engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed section has top and bottom bases, side and rear walls, front end plates, and guides mounting radio-electronic modules. Casing accommodates tubes vertically installed in clearances between modules perpendicular to guides; these tubes are sealed over outer diameter relative to top and bottom bases, Air within casing and tubes is heated due to heat released by operating modules. Density of air heated within tube is lower than that about instrument and therefore it goes up over tube thereby affording heat transfer and aiding in cooling of modules.
EFFECT: simplified design, enhanced cooling efficiency.
