FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, surface cultivation of erosion-dangerous weedery soils.

SUBSTANCE: cultivator has transverse bar with parallelogram sections secured to bar so that their pitch may be adjusted. Each of said sections has feeler wheel and replaceable working tools made in the form of flat A-hoes. Each of flat A-hoes is equipped with left-hand short wing and right-hand long wing having aperture angle exceeding 100 deg between wing edges. Left-hand short wing cutting edge has aperture angle to longitudinal direction exceeding that of cutting edge to longitudinal direction of right-hand long wing. Cutting edges of wings have variable sharpening angles reducing toward free ends of hoe. Sharpening angle of left-hand short wing is reducing within the range of from 22 deg to 15 deg, and sharpening angle of right-hand long wing is reducing within the range of from 18 deg to 9 deg. Mounting openings of hoe are arranged on axis aligned with longitudinal direction. Hoe tips are arranged on single front line. Long and short wings in each adjacent pair are arranged in overlapping relation, said overlapping ranging between 6 cm and 8 cm.

EFFECT: increased quality of cultivation of fallow land and provision for retention of soil moisture resources.
