FIELD: processes for surfacing parts operating at high specific pressure values and elevated temperature such as rolls for hot rolling, possibly rolls of machines for continuous casting of steel billets, parts of chemical apparatuses such as dampers of oil and gas pipelines.
SUBSTANCE: powder wire includes envelope of low-carbon steel and powder charge containing, mass %: chrome, 12.0 - 14.0; fluorite, 4.0 - 7.0; ferromolybdenum, 1.5 -2.9; nickel, 1.0 -4.5; field spar, 2.0 - 4.0; ferrochrome, 1.0 -4.0; ferrotitanium, 0.3 - 3.0; manganese, 0.7 - 1.6; ferrovanadium, 0.2 - 1.0; cryolite, 0.5 - 0.7; ferroniobium, 0.16 - 0.56; ferrosilicon, 0.2 - 1.2; iron, 02 - 1.84; low-carbon steel of envelope, the balance.
EFFECT: enhanced stability of electric arc burning, absence of pores and of splashes due to complex slag protection of melt metal during drop stage and also in welding bath, improved thermal strength, corrosion strength, lowered content of high-cost alloying elements.
