FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: flux-cored wire can be used in metallurgical production to restore and harden parts of non-ferrous metal hot pressing tools, such as mandrels, dies, bushings or washers. The flux-cored wire consists of a low-carbon steel sheath and a powdered charge containing components in the following ratio, wt.%: ferrochrome 14.0-18.0; boron nitride 2.0-3.0; ferrovanadium 2.0-4.0; ferrotitanium 2.0-3.0; molybdenum 2.0-4.0; ferroniobium 3.0-5.0; sodium silicofluoride 0.5-0.8; iron powder 2.4-16.5; steel shell - the rest. The composition of the charge varies depending on the method of surfacing, taking into account the coefficients of transition of alloying elements into the deposited metal.
EFFECT: flux-cored wire provides high heat resistance, thermal fatigue resistance and wear resistance of deposited coatings on parts operating under metal-to-metal friction at high temperatures.
