FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: flux cored electrode can be used for restoration and strengthening of closure surfaces of stop valve and restrict apparatus, mechanical seal of terminal pair. Flux cored electrode, consisting of steel shell and powder-like charge contains batch materials in a following ratio, wt %: marble 4.8-6.0, fluorite 6.4-9.5, rutile 11.9-14.3, graphite 0.7-1.2, ferrochromium 47.6-52.4, ferromolybdenum 7.1-9.5, ferroniobium 3.6-7.1, iron powder - the rest. Mark-to-space ratio of electrode by powder-like charge is 42%. For manufacturing of flux cored electrode there are used as ferrous materials, as clean powders of metals, varying charge makeup depending on method of pad weld with a glance of transition coefficients of alloying elements into deposited metal.
EFFECT: invention is directed to increasing of wear resistance of deposited metal, operating to abrasion in contact to corrosion environment.
