FIELD: separation and high cleaning of radioactive elements possessing ability for forming amalgams; radio-chemical industry for extraction of radioactive isotopes for medicine and analytical chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device has semi-counterflow unit for separation of radioactive elements possessing different ability for forming amalgams by cementation of one of elements, electrolysis, separation and regeneration cells located vertically one above another and provided with mixers mounted on common shaft, reservoir for receiving regenerated mercury and screw feeder tightly fitted in tube and rotating together with it; mercury flows from cell to cell through hydraulic seal by gravity.
EFFECT: operation of remotely controlled device in radiation shielded chambers.
