SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of hydrometallurgy. The method is used for removal of the water non-soluble substances from the solutions containing the metals chemically transformed into the water-soluble form. It provides for addition in the solutions at least of one the water-soluble cationic polyelectrolyte containing the neutralized or quaternized by the inorganic acid and then polymerized dialhylaminoalkyl(meta)acrylamide, preferably dimethylaminopropylakrylamide. The invention also presents the device for realization of the method at purification of the solutions by Bayer's method. The technical result of the invention is the increased efficiency of the process.
