SUBSTANCE: invention relates to personal hygiene. The composition for personal hygiene comprises a cation polyelectrolyte in a quantity of 0.6 wt.% in a cosmetically acceptable aquatic medium, at least one surfactant in the amount of 3-15 wt.%; and 0.03-0.72 wt.% of anion polyelectrolyte, wherein the mass ratio of the above-mentioned anion polyelectrolyte to the above-mentioned cation polyelectrolyte is 0.05-1.2, wherein said composition exhibits a change in viscosity below the minimum threshold of significant change (Δη_min) and exhibits the absence of a measurable yield limit or an increase in the yield limit in relation to the essentially identical composition, which does not contain the above-mentioned anion polyelectrolyte with a mass ratio of anion polyelectrolyte to cation polyelectrolyte 0.05-1.2.
