FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed rotary-vane internal combustion engine has stator and rotor with movable vanes. Stator has point of friction contact with rotor and dividing roller dividing space between rotor and stator into three-dimensional parts with holes to let in working mixture and let out exhaust gases in which thermodynamic processes of expansion and compression of working mixture take place. Movable are synchronized by gearing either directly or through idler gears. Closed chutes-grooves are made on inner surface of end face covers of stator providing fitting of vane edge to surface of stator and position of vanes depending on position of rotor at rotation. Body of rotor is arranged on axle of rotation (on shaft). Vanes of rotor passing point of friction contact when rotating on rotor axle or moving along arc from one extreme position to the other, limiting by two faces volume of compressed gas between vane and body of stator transfer gas through point of friction contact from compression area into combustion and expansion area.
EFFECT: provision of higher power-to-torque ratio relative to total mass of set, increased efficiency.
