FIELD: domestic appliances.

SUBSTANCE: cyclone separator has cyclone's case which has cyclone chamber, dust-depositing chamber and connecting channel, shutting unit, which is connected to top part of cyclone's case, door unit fastened for open to lower part of cyclones case, and at least one noise-suppressing rib made in pipe for air outlet, which pipe is disposed in cyclone chamber. Cyclone chamber is made inside case to the right from connecting channel, and dust-depositing chamber is disposed to the left from connecting channel. According to the invention, cyclone separator has cyclone chamber, dust-depositing chamber, connecting channel, channel for letting air in intended for letting dirty air in sucked through connecting channel, into cyclone chamber, which drives dirty air into rotation to provide separation of the air to cleaned air and dust, air outlet pipe which limits outlet channel for letting clean air out of cyclone chamber, and noise-suppressing rib made in pipe for air outlet in outlet channel, which rib has to be sufficient to prevent turning flow of clean air into vortex flow in described pipe. Cyclone chamber is made inside case to the right from connecting channel, and dust-depositing chamber is disposed to the left from connecting channel. Vacuum cleaner has case with driving engine, sucking-in brush connected to case of vacuum cleaner and intended for sucking dust in from surface to be cleaned, and cyclone separator attached for removal to case of vacuum cleaner and intended for separating dust off dirty air sucked through sucking-in brush in.

EFFECT: improved efficiency of dust separation; reduction in losses of pressure when starting vacuum cleaner; reduced level of noise; reduced load at electric engine.
