FIELD: metallurgy; alloying of aluminum.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes introduction of alloying component salt into aluminum melt, mixing and alumo-thermal reduction of component. Alloying component salt is introduced in form of gas-powder mixture through nozzle of lance submerged in jet of high-velocity gas fed independently into melt through coaxial orifices of lance. Used as alloying salt component is at least one element from group including zirconium, titanium, manganese, boron and used as component of gas-powder mixture is at least one element whose melting point is above that of aluminum. Neutral gas is used as high-velocity gas. Besides that, gas is delivered at pressure no less than 8 atm through one or several orifices of lance whose diameter does not exceed 1.5 mm.
EFFECT: enhanced assimilability of alloying component; low cost of procedure.
