FIELD: technology for researching drill wells, in particular, for determining inclination and direction of drill well.
SUBSTANCE: method for controlling well curving includes placing a well device in well borehole, as sensitive elements of which optical fiber is used. Well device is moved along the well so that its axis occupies position equidistantly to axis of well borehole. During that, changes of optical radiation parameters, caused by mechanical deformations of sensitive elements, are recorded. Device for controlling well curving contains well device, ground-based equipment and logging cable. Body of well device is made flexible, while sensitive elements are made of optical fiber. Suggested invention allows to avoid using mechanical deflection sensors and, therefore, to increase reliability of method, by preventing influence of wear and errors of mechanical movement indicators on precision of measurements. Absence of direct contact of sensitive elements with internal surface of drilling tubes or well walls and high speed of measurement results production allow usage of invention directly in process of lifting operations, resulting in substantially reduced time losses on performing measurements, and also allows realization of method in various conditions: both inside the column if drilling tubes and outside it, in cased and uncased columns.
EFFECT: increased reliability of operation, increased resistance to interference and increased quality of control of well borehole curving.
