FIELD: throw-away cigarette lighters.

SUBSTANCE: proposed cigarette lighter has fuel source, igniting mechanism, actuating mechanism for escape of fuel and actuating igniting mechanism with upper and lower ends and bounding member. Latch member is connected to actuating mechanism as integral part; it is movable between locked position when latch member blocks motion of actuating mechanism and ready position when latch member does not block motion of actuating mechanism. Latch member is flexible and under action of shifting force it returns to locked position; fixing mechanism fitted in size and shape to latch member for receiving and holding it when latch member moves from blocking position to ready position. Provision is made for another shifting force which is applied to section of latch member to make it shift towards blocking position.

EFFECT: enhanced protection against unforeseen use.
