FIELD: feed production, in particular, fodder and grass feeds granulating technique.
SUBSTANCE: granulating apparatus has charging mechanism with device for feeding of dosed amounts of basic material into working chamber including pressing roller and perforated annular matrix located within said chamber. Matrix perforation is made in the form of rectangular radial openings provided through inner surface of matrix without formation of webs at inlets of pressing channels.
EFFECT: reduced consumption of power for granulation process.
