FIELD: medical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device has shoulder, pelvic, knee and foot support members connected to each other by loading members. Each of the loading members is inextensible adjusting ribbon and has flexible tie-rod attached to it without residual deformations. Increase in initial length evokes effort being not less than 4 kg. Length relationships binding adjusting ribbons and flexible tie-rods of each loading element is selected so that the maximum elongation of flexible tie-rod is not less than 50% of initial length. The device additionally has support member mounted on chest part of trunk. The support member is connected to shoulder support members by means of self-fixed buckles, forming waistcoat tightly adjacent to the patient body. Pelvic support member is designed as shorts. Force-transferring ribbons built-in by sewing are available on chest and pelvic support members. The ribbons are provided with buckles to enable chest and pelvic support members to come in interconnection to each other. These support members are individually fitted to patient body dimensions by using additional accessories. Knee joint support members are designed as bandage tightly embracing knee joint zone, the superior quarter of shin and the inferior quarter of thighs. Loops are available on the bandage in the same plane with the horizontal axis of the joint for receiving loading tie-rods in them. The foot support members are designed as boots or flexible fabric plates. The boots have fabric strip attached to the sole along its perimeter. The strips have loops for fastening flexible tie-rods thereto. The step between the loops is not greater than 10% of boot sole length. Flexible fabric plates envelope the whole patient sole and have loops for fastening loading tie-rods to them. The device has three belts, each having two self-tightening locks. One of the belts allows its location along costal arch edge; the second one is fittable on waist, and the third one on patient iliac bones. Each belt has fabric fastener on its internal surface mounted on belt part, which is adjacent to the patient trunk back surface. Mating fastener parts are available on chest and pelvic support members. Adjusting ribbons of loading members are rigidly attached to frontal lateral and back surfaces of the chest and pelvic support members, however their ends are free and have buckles and claspers.
EFFECT: steady asymmetric selective skeletal muscles loading; selective energetic loading of separate kinds of movements.
