SUBSTANCE: device using at least one auxiliary control of vehicle relates to lever switch of vehicle or like device coupled with vehicle steering wheel, or pushbutton switch or like device arranged on vehicle control panel or in other place within the reach of driver. Proposed device includes at least one electric actuator capable of providing mechanical manipulation displacement(s) of at least one said auxiliary vehicle control, and at least one control designed for driver to control manipulation displacement(s)of said at least one actuator. Vehicle driver acquires skill to control at least one auxiliary vehicle control creating manipulation displacement(s) of corresponding practically to standard manual operation of said auxiliary control. Method of use of at least one auxiliary control in form of lever switch or like device on contact with steering wheel of vehicle, or pushbutton switch or other like switch on vehicle control panel or in other place within the reach of vehicle driver comes to subjection one auxiliary control of vehicle to mechanical manipulation displacement(s) by at least one electric actuator, and at least one control designed for driver is used to control manipulation displacement(s) by at least one actuator. Vehicle driver can act onto one auxiliary control of vehicle providing manipulation displacement(s) of auxiliary control/controls of vehicle practically identical to standard use of auxiliary control/controls.
EFFECT: improved safety and provision of convenience in mounting.
