FIELD: transport engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for mounting seat of vehicle driver on working place. Proposed turning device has base, carriage, studs for seat and carriage turning and fixing mechanism. Carriage turning axis O1 does not coincide with vertical axis O2 of seat being arranged with displacement along its horizontal axis. Carriage turning and fixing mechanism provides turning of carriage through 180° with intermediate fixed position through 90°, and it is provided with fixing disk with slots rigidly secured on base, vertical axle with bearings installed in fixing disk, support member rigidly coupled with carriage for rotation on axle, spring-loaded lock getting into slots of fixing disk and engaging through tie-rod with pedal installed on carriage. Rollers of carriage are attached to its sides. Carriage is furnished with additional inner rollers arranged along end face sides of carriage over arcs of circumferences having one center coinciding with carriage axis of rotation O1 but different radii.
EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities owing to optimum positioning of seat on working place.
