FIELD: railway transport:signalling and communication; interval control of traffic.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for interval control of traffic and different signaling systems to prevent collision of trains at station. Proposed system improves conditions of operation of locomotive driver and assistant station master (ASM) owing to use of existing cab track equipment and numerical code continuous automatic cab signaling devices furnished additionally with track detectors of places of connection of standard and inverse code signal RY and locomotive detectors of these signals with provision of automatic change-over of track block-section mode of operation of automatic cab signaling devices into station mode when entering the station tracks, and station mode into track block-section mode, when leaving the station tracks. Invention improves safety owing to prevention of collision of rolling stock at shunting and train movements by exclusion of unauthorized passing of station light signal with danger light.
EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities of automatic cab signaling system, improved serviceability of system "ACS - driver - ASM.
