FIELD: aeronautical engineering; control mechanisms for aerodynamic surfaces, flaps for example.

SUBSTANCE: kinematic members of control mechanism are linked by means of articulated units, ball joint inclusive which connects bracing strut with aircraft wing bracket including load-bearing axle and inner ring. Mounted on load-bearing axle and rigidly connected with it is bush with radial flange projections engageable with mating grooves of inner ring made on its end surface. Load-bearing axle is stepped in form and is provided with eccentric mounting surface for bush; load-bearing axle is locked on wing bracket ear by means of splined washer. Number of smoothly distributed grooves is no less than six; grooves and projections may be rectangular in shape. Bush may be locked on load-bearing axle by means of key. It is good practice to make axle with splined head for splined washer. Provision is made for control of position of kinematic members of mechanism with aerodynamic surface connected with it keeping inner ring of ball joints against turn.

EFFECT: enhanced reliability; increased loading characteristics.
