METHOD FOR SELECTING COMBINATION OF TRANSPORTATION FORMATS FOR COMPRESSION MODE IN BROADBAND MULTI-ACCESS SYSTEM WITH CODE DIVISION OF CHANNELS Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC H04B7/05

Abstract RU 2295829 C2

FIELD: communications.

SUBSTANCE: suggested further are methods for determining effective transport format combinations for all configured transport format combinations for normal operation mode and compression mode. These methods provide possible recording (in various forms) of sufficient information about prehistory, allowing to realize precise classification of transport format combinations. During realization of first plan transmitter power requirement modes are supported for different combinations of each transport format combination. One combination is used for each transport format combination on each transport format combination selection interval, while effective transport format combinations are determined from used combinations present in suitable condition (suitable conditions). During realization of second plan, two power requirement modes are supported for each transport format combination for normal mode and compression mode, i.e. one state for normal mode and compression mode. During realization of third plan the only power requirement mode is supported for each transport format combination for both modes on basis of certain requirement of relative power. During realization of fourth plan, a row of power requirement states is supported for asset of accumulators, which envelop combined range of relative required transmission powers for all transport format combinations. During realization of fifth plan, a set of threshold values for relative power requirements is supported.

EFFECT: increased efficiency.
