FIELD: agriculture, in particular, basidium fungi growing process.

SUBSTANCE: method involves preparing substrate; inoculating substrate with mycelium; forming substrate blocks with internal channels; maintaining temperature of substrate blocks using thermal regulation process; providing incubation and fruit bearing stages. Temperature of substrate blocks is maintained by providing controllable heat exchange between substrate block and heat transfer surface of heat conductor of active thermal regulation system, said heat conductor extending through internal channel of substrate blocks. At reduced positive temperature of air in growing room, heating of substrate blocks is provided by supplying of heat into said blocks through circulation of heat-carrier heated to predetermined temperature via heat conductor. At increased temperature of air in growing room, cooling of substrate blocks is provided by withdrawal of heat from inside of substrate blocks through circulation via heat conductor of coolant cooled to predetermined temperature. Apparatus has at least one container for substrate blocks having different shapes and provided with internal channel, and active thermal regulation system.

EFFECT: reduced power and material consumption, increased yield and quality of product in wide range of air temperatures within growing rooms.
