FIELD: heat-insulating design of trousers.
SUBSTANCE: method involves providing ergonomic projection of trousers front half, at knee part, by making gap cuts oriented to projection in the region of knee joint combined with sewn-on constructional member and warming-up intermediate layer; calculating cut gaps on the basis of geometric balance system of trousers design in user's sitting position and calculating thickness of additional heat-insulating intermediate layer on the basis of data on thermal product of bent leg portion characteristic of sitting position; using thermal physical coefficient in said calculation.
EFFECT: increased extent of heat insulation and elimination of excessive stressing of article during bending of leg.
