FIELD: furniture industry, in particular, transformable piece of furniture, for example armchair which may be transformed into table, and vice versa.
SUBSTANCE: transformable piece of furniture has two flat members connected to one another and adapted for moving between first position at which said members serve as seat and back and second position at which said members serve as front panel and working surface, and vice versa. Transformable piece of furniture is furnished with supporting structure for flat members. Supporting structure has two interconnected lateral vertical members spaced apart from one another. Flat members are positioned for rotation relative to vertical pins which connect said vertical members.
EFFECT: simplified and stable construction, and provision for convenient and simplified transformation of piece of furniture.
