Abstract RU 2145787 C1

FIELD: production of furniture, in particular, upholstered furniture with back or arm rest convertible into journal table. SUBSTANCE: convertible furniture such as sofa-bed has folding table built into one of its sections. This section is provided with rear main wall having rectangular slot positioned in the center of its lower part. Width of slot is equal to that of table top and height of slot defines level of folded back table top. Main rear wall makes support for folded back table top. Convertible furniture has L-shaped restrictors with projections oriented one to another and rigidly secured to main rear wall to define together with it guides for table top hinge, when it is movable in vertical direction. L-shaped restrictors are adapted for restricting height of retraction of table top before it is arranged in horizontal position. Retainer made in the form of rectangular plate is rigidly secured to rear main wall through restrictors and is adapted for fixing table top folding-back angle. EFFECT: wider operational capabilities, increased convenience and simplified construction. 4 dwg
