FIELD: veterinary science, surgery.
SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with suturing surgical intestinal wounds, for example, for creating an anastomosis. The suggested single-row nonabsorbable intestinal suture consists of transverse and longitudinal stitches fulfilled with one ligature. Moreover, transverse stitches are fulfilled at external surface of serosa at alternating the angle of inclination for the opposite one in each couple. Longitudinal stitches are located in submucous layer at the border with mucous one. The innovation enables to increase the steadiness of distributing one's tightening efforts along intestinal layers and the length of wound's edges under joining and shorten the terms for healing.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
