FIELD: construction of drive-free hand saw with replaceable blade, in particular, unit for attachment of saw blade to handle.

SUBSTANCE: hand saw has handle with basing member formed as retaining pin and longitudinal cut, replaceable blade fixed in longitudinal cut and equipped with cutting edge and slot for accommodation therein of retaining pin, said slot being provided at the side of end facing handle, and clamping device having bolt and wing nut. Blade is provided at its end facing handle with additional cut formed at side opposite to cutting edge side, and is provided at its other end with additional slot spaced apart from main slot. Cut similar to additional cut is formed in handle at side facing said blade, said cut being combined with additional cut. Bolt of clamping device is positioned in combined cuts. Saw has additional retaining pin positioned within additional slot. Additional cut is positioned at an angle to longitudinal axis of blade. Inclination angle of additional cut may constitute 35 deg. Main slot is positioned at an angle to additional slot. Angle between main and additional slots may constitute 62.3 deg. Hand saw may be equipped with restricting plank connected to bolt and designed for adjustment of saw cut depth.

EFFECT: enhanced reliability in operation and convenient operation of hand saw.
