FIELD: production of the manual cutting tools.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the manual cutting tools, in particular, to the designs of the hand saws. The hand saw contains the handle, the fixed in it working saw band with the cutting edge, the mounted on the saw band limiting plank with the guiding pins located in the guiding slits made in parallel to each other and the pressing gear for fixation of the limiting plank in the set position in the form of two thumb screws. At that the nearest to the handle guiding pin represents a screw bolt. The guiding slits are made in the saw band on the opposite side to the cutting edge on the both its ends. In the handle on the side facing the saw band there is the conjugated with the slit of the saw band identical slit along one side of which there is the toothed rack. The hand saw is supplied with the mounted on the screw bolt gear forming with the toothed rack gearing. The pressing tool additionally includes a nut and a bush mounted on the opposite to the cap end of the bolt. One of the thumbscrew is mounted on the bolt on its cap side and another thumbscrew is mounted on the bush. At that the last thumbscrew is rigidly linked to the gearwheel. On the handle or on the saw band there may be the scale of the ruler for the accurate setting of the limiting plank. The guiding slits may be made at an angle to the direct-axis of the saw band. The invention improves conditions of operation, setting of the depth of sawing, simplifies the hand saw design.

EFFECT: the invention ensures the improved conditions of the hand saw operation, settings of the depth of sawing, simplifies the hand saw design.
