FIELD: technique for convective drying of solid materials and articles, in particular, drying chambers with aerodynamic heating of drying agent circulating therein.
SUBSTANCE: aerodynamic drying chamber has enclosure with door, inlet and outlet devices for gas medium exchange within chamber, at least one power unit comprising rotor for creating and heating of gas medium flow in circulation channel of drying chamber. Power unit and, in case a number of power units are available, each of power units and rotor screen are located in upper part of drying chamber. Screens adjoin to front end wall having door and to rear end wall of drying chamber enclosure or to additionally equipped end walls of circulation channel. Passageway provided in the vicinity of drying chamber floor, along each lateral screen, is made in the form of longitudinal slot or a number of windows for introducing of gaseous medium into drying chamber cavity.
EFFECT: increased drying uniformity by using transverse blowing-through of working chamber cavity by means of ascending gaseous medium flows equal in length.
