FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed ultraviolet-radiation phosphor composition has mixture of at least two UVA radiating phosphors chosen from SrB4O7:EU, YPO4:Ce and BaSi2Os:Pb in which mixture of UVA radiating phosphors has 0 to 50 mass percent of SrB4O7:EU, 0 to 40 mass percent of YPO4:Ce, and 30 to 70 mass percent of BaSi2Os:Pb, total phosphor percentage being 100%. Phosphor composition can have in addition UVB radiating phosphor in the amount of 0 to 12 mass percent.
EFFECT: enhanced initial yield of mentioned ultraviolet radiation and its safety.
