FIELD: crude oil treatment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to emulsifiers capable of forming inverted emulsions and can find use when forming uniform mixture of two immiscible liquids such as crude oil and water, lubricating oil and water, used in up-to-date oil production intensification technologies. Active base of invert-emulsion emulsifier is prepared via interaction of alkanolamine and saturated and unsaturated fatty acid mixture with C₈-C₂₄-hydrocarbon solvent on heating, said alkanolamine being a mixture of monoethanolamine or diethanolamine with triethanolamine at molar ratio (1-4):1, respectively. Invert-emulsion emulsifier thus obtained comprises oil-soluble surfactant (5-30%) and hydrocarbon solvent, the former being active base of emulsifier obtained as above.

EFFECT: simplified preparation of active base of emulsifier and improved working characteristics of emulsifier owing to inclusion of active base.
