FIELD: the invention refers to the field of turning for processing materials by cutting, to combined cutting instrument.
SUBSTANCE: the plate has at least one angle in the range of 30-850 formed by cutting edges, the front and the rear surfaces, a transversal edge located perpendicularly to the middle of the bisector of the mentioned angle passing through it and transitional radius cutting edges from transversal edge to cutting edges. At least one lug is fulfilled on the front surface to increase stability of the cutting plate due to improvement of its geometry. At that the transitional cutting edge is formed by crossing the surface of the mentioned lug with the surface of the cutting edge.
EFFECT: increases efficiency of the cutting plate for turning.
