Abstract RU 2307724 C1

FIELD: working metals by cutting, built-up cutting tools for working holes.

SUBSTANCE: cutting tool includes body with seats for rough and finish working having basic and lateral walls. In said seats identical tangential cutting tips are mounted; each tip is secured by means of screw passing through its central opening. Each lateral surface of cutting tips is joined with its bases along two cylindrical portions with mutually parallel axes. In order to enhance quality of worked surface due to increasing radius of finishing cutting edge, tool is provided with supporting tips mounted in seats of tool body for rough working. On lateral surfaces of cutting tips there is additional cylindrical portion whose axis is parallel to bases. Said additional cylindrical portions is arranged between above mentioned cylindrical portions and it forms radial cutting edge at its crossing with end faces of cutting tips. Radius of said radial cutting edge exceeds radiuses of angular cutting edges.

EFFECT: improved quality of surface worked by such tool.
