FIELD: mechanical engineering and metal working.
SUBSTANCE: proposed cutting plate has at least one front surface, cutting edge at least one bearing surface to interact with tool casing seat bearing wall representing a polygon or circle and having a center of symmetry, and device to position cutting tool along aforesaid bearing surface and to limit turning about the axis perpendicular to said bearing surface. To simplify machining aforesaid bearing surface, positioning devices represent side surfaces of at least one group of concentric circular grooves with their center off set from axis of symmetry of bearing surface towards its periphery. Proposed cutting tool comprises casing accommodating above described cutting tool. To expand operating performances, casing bearing wall has two groups of concentric circular ledges to interact with mating groups of aforesaid concentric circular grooves. Note that casing seat has additional bearing wall to interact with cutting plate. Note also that main bearing wall is furnished with one group of concentric circular ledges to interact with mating group of concentric circular grooves of cutting plate.
EFFECT: expanded performances.
